On the weekend of October 11–12, 2025, another legendary Spartan Trifecta Weekend took place in Lipno – and it was an absolutely perfect way to wrap up the season. Three races, hundreds of determined Spartans, excellent organization, and that unmistakable atmosphere you simply have to experience for yourself.

This time, I wasn’t standing on the start line as a competitor, but I still enjoyed the whole weekend to the fullest – in the role of an ambassador. It was great to be part of the action from a different perspective: motivating others, cheering them on, helping with pre-race preparation, and sharing the energy with athletes before each run.

And I have to say, the pre-race warm-ups were an absolute highlight for me. Each session was full of energy, smiles, and emotions. Watching hundreds of people tune in together, move, and get ready to perform was incredibly powerful.
Lipno also featured a special ambassador wave, where selected racers had the chance to experience on-course guidance and support directly from an ambassador. The ambassador ran alongside the chosen athletes for the entire race, sharing tips, offering advice, and being there for them during the tough moments. A fantastic concept that gave racers the opportunity to experience Spartan from a new, more team-oriented perspective.

Lipno is an absolutely stunning place and a perfect setting for Spartan races. It combines beautiful nature, challenging terrain, and breathtaking views. The Beast category even led runners up to the Treetop Walkway, where they were rewarded with an unforgettable panoramic view.
Moments like these remind us that OCR is not only about performance, but also about the experiences that stay with us long after the finish line.

Even though I didn’t race this time, I didn’t miss out on any of the excitement or pride – watching our OCR Veverky team on the course was a huge experience. Everyone gave it their all, and the results speak for themselves:

Sprint: 5th place out of 14 teams
Super: 6th place out of 17 teams
Beast: 5th place out of 13 teams
The team spirit, support, and energy were felt every step of the way. I’m proud of every single one of you.
A huge congratulations to STG Opava, who absolutely dominated at Lipno – completing the Triple and winning all categories. Hats off, full respect. You’re not only a great group of people but also incredible athletes who inspire others.

Once again, Lipno proved that Spartan is not just about racing – it’s about community, shared experiences, pushing your limits, and the pure joy of movement.
For me personally, it was a weekend full of inspiration, energy, and new encounters.
Thank you to everyone who was part of it – racers, organizers, and fans. It was the perfect season finale and a reminder of why we love this community so much.
Although Lipno marked the end of this year’s Spartan obstacle race season in the Czech Republic and no more obstacle races will take place here this year, there’s still a great opportunity for running enthusiasts – the Spartan Vrkoč Trail 10K, happening on November 22, 2025.
A perfect chance to extend your season, enjoy a beautiful trail run, and close out the year actively.
